Almost three decades back, Tapas's journey began with a modest sum of Rs 6000 along with a truckload of excitement and enthusiasm! It was with the help of a relative that Mr. Kailash learnt about the work of chikankari in Lucknow. The artform fascinated him to an extent where he decided to do something to take its legacy forward in his own way. That's how Tapas started.
